Alice wasn't like the other girls. She did not like pink things and frilly things. She liked mud and games, but her mother and father wanted her to be a pretty little princess like all of their other daughters. Because Alice's mother and father were the queen and king, Alice was a real princess, and so she didn't need to pretend. Alice had two sisters; Isobella and Megan. She also had two brothers; Tyler and Lucas. Isobella was 8, Megan was 12, Tyler was 9, and Lucas was 15. Alice was 13. She liked to go around with her brothers. Instead of have tea parties with her sisters. Alice liked adventure. She wondered around the many acres of woods there were around the castle. She found many different things each day.

One day she saw a little dog wandering round the woods. It was panting and very muddy. Alice ran over to it. She picked it up in her arms and held it tight. She ran home, all the way back to the castle, and as soon as she got there she took out some meat from the cellar and placed it on the floor. She watched cautiously as the dog began to slowly chew the meat. All of a sudden her father burst in through the door. "ALICE!" He bellowed. "What is this i see?" Alice was shaking but she knew that her father was not as scary as he pretended to be.

"The dog...she is hurt...and hungry." Alice whimpered. Then her father relaxed and he walked slowly towards the dog. One gance and the dog bounded backwards into Alice's arms. "Im guessing she's not so good with people?" Asked the king. And Alice shook her head and stroked the dog. Alice's father was at the door, when he heard a soft whispering, "father, can i keep her?" And with a very stiff 'yes' from the king, a new friendship was born.

Every day the two of them went into the woods. Looking for new and strange things, and every day they grew closer. After a week Alice decided something. "I am to give you a name. I cannot call you dog forever." The dog looked up at Alice with wide eyes, and as Alice thought she caught a glimpse of her favourite dress. A beautiful dress from India. All different colours and jewels. "Thats it!" She said. "India." Alice smiled, and India barked with joy. Then they ran home to tell everyone else the good news.

Alice was afraid of the dark. So she did not stay in the woods for long after nightfall. But now she had India she felt safe. Her pet could chase off the monsters. One day after all the family had eaten, Alice and India set off into the forest to find some pine cones. India was good at this now. As all she needed was her nose. Alice took her basket and placed each of the pine cones neatly inside. After they had found so many pines cones, you could smell them from the basket, they decided to find some flowers. "Bluebells!!" Exclaimed Alice. She picked about ten bluebells and placed them into the basket. Then Alice sat down on a boulder and looked at her creation which lay in her wicker basket. "Oh they are perfectly lovely India." Alice smiled as India licked her face. Then Alice winced as she heard a noise so horrible that the bluebells died.

India growled. As Alice looked around herself. It was dark now and she knew that. Her brothers had always told Alice not to be in the woods when it gets dark. There were creatures of the unknown in there. Alice could hear her mother now, and Megan. Shouting for her. She tried to run to them but she was stopped in her tracks by a shadow standing infront of her. India started to bark loudly and Alice's mother heard. "Alice? India?" She shouted. As India barked again at the creature standing still infront of them. "Are you a creature of the unknown?" Alice asked, her voice shaking. "I do not think you are harmful, if you are, why have you not hurt us yet?" But then the creature looked around and saw Alice's mother and Megan running towards them. The creature moved swiftly sideways. It definatley had legs. But did not seem to use them. It glided sideways and then was out of sight.

Megan saw Alice. "Oh Alice, where have you been?" She asked. Hugging her sister. Alice's mother approached, looking around them. "Who were you talking to Alice dear?" Her mother asked. Alice could think of an answer straight away. "Just India mother." She said looking at her mother. Alice had an advantage. As her eyes were diverted away from her mother. But the queen did not know this, as the dark was on Alice's face. When they returned to the castle, they were welcomed by Lucas, Tyler and Isobella. "Father is inside mother." Lucas said as he looked at India. Then India bounded up towards Lucas and Tyler and they stroked her. Tyler looked up to Alice. "You are in trouble." He said quietly. Alice bit her lip and walked in through the wooden door.

Alice's mother took one look at Alice and gasped. "Alice darling, you are as pale as a ghost and as muddy as a feild. Lets get you washed and changed before you speak to your father." Alice did not like washing. But she thought it was a better idea than facing her father just yet. So she nodded and got cleaned up. When she was washed and wearing a clean white dress, she walked towards her father. "Alice! Where have you been!" He shouted. And Alice trembled. "Th...the woods." She said nervously. And as the king moved closer towards her, Alice backed away. But it was not Alice the king was looking at. It was India. He picked up the dog and stared at her eyes. "This dog is the reason you have been out so late. Is it not?" The king asked. Holding India like she was vermin.
"Father i..."
"Answer my question Alice!!"
"But..." And the king looked at Alice with the sort of look which scared all of the children. But Alice was not going to let her father seperate her and India. "NO!" Alice said feircly. And The hall was silent. Alice was expecting her father to hit her. But instead he walked away. Alice was pleased with herself. But then she noticed that India was gone.
"India? India!?!" Alice got worried. She knew that her father was not afraid to kill things. She chased after him.

"FATHER! Where are you taking her?" Alice shouted. Yet all her father did was turn around, and say, "This is your last night with India. We are sending her off to a farm." Alice looked at India's face. She looked innocent. But the king refused to believe that. "Father you cant." Alice said quietly. As tears started to stream down her face. "Father?" But all was quiet in the castle. Lucas stood behind Alice, and as she fell to her knees, he walked over to pick her back up and hold her. "It will all be ok." He whispered. As Alice cried over the loss of her friend. "I have to get her back." She cried. "And you have to help me." She looked up at Lucas and he stood with his mouth open. Then he nodded and said ok. "How?" He asked, after a while. Alice thought. Then she said "Just go and ask father where he is sending India. I can do the rest." Then she smiled, Lucas nodded and walked towards his fathers chamber. As the wooden door opened, Alice moved out of sight and hid in the dark under the stone steps. She could not hear what her father was saying. So she waited patiently.

Finally Lucas walked away from the door and sat under the steps with Alice. "So?" She asked. Lucas looked at her. His eyes were red. "Luke?" Alice huddled up to him and looked at him. "What's wrong?" She asked. Lucas just stared towards the wall and took a deep breath. "They are sending India to a farm. She will stay there for two days. Then she will be taken to the barnhouse and she will be shot." Lucas looked at the floor and Alice cried silently. Lucas hugged her after a while. "We cant give up Ally." He said. Alice smiled at him and nodded.

This is my first blog entery...so dont screw at me if it sucks =D

Right..

So theres certain things in life that make you think. Make you think about all sorts of things. You could think about life, love, friends, death...anything. But i have recently noticed that music can make you think about all of those things at once.
I know its probly really unhealthy to listen to as much music as i do. But sometimes it helps. Now im gonna write out every artist on my ipod. And im gonna write what they mean to me...you can just close this page right now if you wanna. But i wont like you if you do...it gets more interesting =D!!

30 Seconds To mars = They are an amazing band who write some truthful stuff. But sadly only a few people can relate to them.
AFI = They are very...different. Ive never really understood their music. But its fun to listen to when you want to shut everyone else off.
Aiden = To be truthful...some of their music scares me. And i dont get what its about. But some of the newer stuff like 'Moment' and 'Conviction' seems to have had alot of thought put into it.
Aly & A.J = Now my mates would KILL me if they knew i have these on there. But i find their music refreshing and relaxing. =D
Betty Curse = They write some deep stuff that makes you think about all the stuff that could be happening.
Blink 182 = The music they wrote is just fun. It was silly but behind that you saw a meaning.
Everlife = They write sweet music. About being a girl and the flaws.
Fall Out Boy = The music FOB write doesnt actually mean anything =/
Jesse Mccartney = He is such a sweet guy and most of his earlier music was about having a crush. Now he is older its abit more intimate. Just being a guy i guess =D
Jimmy Eat World = Their songs like 'The middle' and 'Hear you me' are very reasurring. =D
Jonas Brothers = I love the cheesiness of it all =) they make me really happy. And i feel good.
Jordan Pruitt = She lets the world know what its like to be a teenager so we can all relate.
Kate Nash = Ok so Kate Nash might not be that original...but shes a good artist and she faces upto what the world is becoming.
Linkin Park = They try to get their point across with their music. When we thought no one would listen.
Lostprophets = They are mostly about having a broken heart. And things changing. But their songs are cool.
Madina Lake = My FAVE band of the moment. They have good lyrics and the right music to set the mood of the song.
Maximo Park = I dont know what their music is about to be truthful.
Mika = He was bullied. And we have all been there. We have all been a geek. It just shows that you can come out on top.
My American Heart = Im not sure if their music has much of a meaning. But i know they each have a story.
Nickelback = Pure geniuses. Behind every song there is a meaning. If you search...you find it.
Nirvana = Nirvana is a legend. Always will be. They show the downside to life. Which makes you think of the good things.
Rooster = Possibly one of my fave bands ever. I loved them so much. Now they are broken up...i still listen to their music. Its usually about girls though =/
Scouting For Girls = They are amazing. And they help me know what boys are thinking =D
Simple Plan = Their music is great. Its fun fun fun. But then theres the odd sad one. They make you feel abit uncomfortable sometimes.
Stereophonics = Stereophonics write music about their experiences and amazing people. I respect them so much.
The Enemy = These are one of the only things that make me proud to be from Coventry. Their music is amazing.
The Hoosiers = When you listen to the lyrics they are quite sad. But it is put to a good beat and they sound happy =S
You Me At Six = One of my fave bands. They are amazing. They show what its like to be a teenager in this world.

Right and now you have read the boring bit. Heres the good bit that you can use...

Music can cure a broken heart. But it can also make it worse. It can stop you greiving. Though it could also break you.
The most important thing is to know what you are listening to.

And that was the most useless peice of information you will EVER find on the internet =)

Much love
xXxXx
